Hello and welcome.
I’m pleased to meet you,
my name is tamra.

I feel so blessed to work with people as I do, helping them release the patterns in their tissues that hold them in a loop of the past and be present for their discoveries and spontaneous movement toward becoming more of who they truly are. Its a real joy, and such a gift.

In my experience, the body is simultaneously a living record of the past as well as a mysterious vehicle for becoming who we truly are. Together, we’ll look at how the segments of the body are currently relating to one another(aligned) and explore several ways (assessment techniques) to discover which aspects of the body pattern are ready and willing to neutralize in each session to help you achieve your goal.

Wearing body hugging clothing that makes it easy for you to get on and off the table helps our work progress evenly and in the right direction. We will always consider the whole body and endeavor to maintain a balance of change that you are able to integrate.

Movement coaching helps you maintain the positive results of a bodywork session and is an effective way to change movement pattern(s) that contribute to pain and dysfunction. It is likely to be a part of most sessions.

My Approach

bodywork

Aston Pattering is the foundation of my work. Of course I draw upon a variety of training and experience including my life long studies in dance, several decades of yoga practice and teaching, NVC/ Compassionate Communication and my own healing and transformational journey in a body.

Tamra helps clients improve their alignment, so they can heal, feel better in their body and enjoy the activities they love. Vitality and dynamic well-being also tend to improve. Tamra uses an advanced form of myofascial release to neutralize the effects from injury or overuse and incorporates movement education so you are better able to maintain the positive results of a bodywork session. She helps you find your optimal alignment, move toward optimal health and find the joy of moving freely in a balanced body.

yoga

Tamra began teaching yoga in 2002. Initially trained in the Anusara Yoga style, Tamra went on to complete the 500-hour Healing Yoga Foundation teacher training in 2011. Her primary teachers are Chase Bossart and Gary Kraftsow, both long-time students of Mr. T.K.V. Desikachar. This tradition emphasizes the adaptation of yoga to each individual's specific needs and goals throughout all phases of their life. Tamra empowers individuals to progress toward improved health and wellbeing through the application of the teachings and practices of yoga.
